Human-first, that's my approach. Showing up authentically allows me to show up for you in a way that also encourages you to show up as your full-self. That means showing up imperfect is better than not at all - because practice makes progress. So be you and do you, I’m not here to judge or put you in a box - just a healthy dose of support and accountability.

Relationships are at the core of everything I do. This isn't just about business—it's about genuinely valuing and caring for you. The truth is, the relationship we create is the most important predictor of positive outcomes in this whole therapy process. I'm all about building connections, collaborating, and cultivating a community.

I've got that Big Empathy Energy® I may not always be able to relate to what you have been through or first-hand understand parts of your life, but where I lack experience, I make up for in empathy. I believe in the incredible power of stories and helping you navigate telling yours. Creating space and honoring your story is really important to me because I know and understand its capacity to heal, empower, and inspire. And because I really value building relationships, I have a great attunement to the nuance in your story and go beyond just listening to the words you’re saying.

Hi, I'm Elyce

LCSW | Founder of The Therapy Co.

I wear many hats - mama, wife, daughter, sister, friend, a millennial woman, a relatable human, and therapist. I’m a licensed therapist in Southern California and the founder of The Therapy Co. With over a decade of professional experience and a lifetime of personal experiences, I bring a little blend of “expertise”, relatability, and empathy to every session.

I primarily work with women, young adults, and professionals experiencing a range of symptoms and life stressors related to anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions (college, marriage, a relationship ending, parenting, a new job, moving, etc.), and suicide loss. When we work together, I want you to feel embraced, validated, and understood.
