While suicide will always be part of the story, it isn't the whole story.
I’ll meet you where you’re at in your journey of loss and we’ll move at a pace that feels right to you. I won’t ever make you talk about something you aren’t ready to talk about and I won’t ever pressure you to discuss the intimate parts of suicide if you do not want to. It’s likely that you may be left with unanswered questions about your loved one’s suicide and I’ll be there to help you in navigate the uncertainty and finding radical acceptance in that uncomfortable reality.
In addition to talk therapy, I also incorporate approaches like
EMDR (coming soon) & Brainspotting that offer alternative paths to healing and rewiring the brain. This approach can be really helpful in addressing trauma and the complexities of suicide loss.
Whether the loss happened 20 years ago or 2 months ago, I’ll be there to help you navigate this experience while also helping you to cope and reconnect with yourself and others. Together we’ll honor your loved one’s memory and help you to find meaningful ways to remember them for who they were and the story of their life, and not just for the way that they died.
