Some people find it really helpful to process their trauma verbally and some don’t ever want to. The best part? You’re in the driver seat. You don’t ever have to verbally recount your traumatic experience to heal from it if you don’t want to. In addition to talk therapy, I also incorporate approaches like
EMDR (coming soon) & Brainspotting that offer alternative paths to healing and rewiring the brain. These somatic-based approaches can often be helpful in addressing trauma, distressing experiences, and the impact they carry.
